Lana Reavis, who believes her husband was murdered and her son the victim of deliberate negligence, enlists the aid of her long-ago boyfriend, Will Moser, who is currently chief deputy of Hogg County and the heir apparent to the local sheriff.

About Eldridge “Redge” Hanes: Duke University alumnus, entrepreneur, politician, Vietnam veteran, and passionate advocate for the arts and the environment, Hanes is the author of Billy Bowater and now Justice by Another Name. Billy Bowater, praised by Maya Angelou “Hanes has captured the human truth and reminds us in this book that nothing human can be alien to any of us…”
